Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 12 March 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with residence in Moscow Regina Veronica Maria Jones-Bos.
The ambassador arrived in our country at the head of a representative delegation of 40 major companies of the Netherlands to participate in the 14th Agro World-2019 exhibition, as well as the Uzbekistan-Netherlands agribusiness forums in Tashkent and Namangan region.
During the conversation, the sides discussed issues related to the further strengthening of Uzbek-Dutch relations, including in the Uzbekistan-European Union format.
It was noted that growth in 2018 by more than 60% of bilateral trade, active contacts between the business circles of the two countries and investment prospects confirm the existence of significant economic, industrial, technological and intellectual potential for progressively increasing cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.
The Uzbek side expressed interest in attraction of the Dutch experience in Uzbekistan in the field of creating a modern tourism infrastructure, improving the quality of education, and training personnel in the most popular specialties.
The meeting also addressed some of the problems of international and regional politics.
